Pot Stickers

This is an accomplishment, just not mine. Paul wanted to make us homemade Chinese food today (since it is the 11th), so he pulled out our new cookbook and he made pot stickers.

Looks yummy!

Sophie seemed to like them!

Logan's Room

We finally got the mattress for Logan's bed (and the trundle too). Here's his bed. I think Paul wants to sleep there tonight. He never had Star Wars sheets when he was little.

His dresser.

And toy/book shelf.

I ordered his night stand today as well. We want to get some Star Wars posters for the wall, and maybe a small shelf for the wall (like Sophie has) to hold some of the knick knacks. He also needs a trashcan and clothes hamper. Oh, yes, Jill, we also got him a Star Wars backpack!

EMM: Support Neighborhood Watch

The first action item for this week is "Get to know your neighbors." Ha, ha! I don't particularly like the neighborhood we live in and we will probably move in the next year or so. I am hoping our new home will be in a neighborhood I like better. We do typically have someone watch our home when we are gone (either someone is staying in our place or someone is coming by everyday to feed the pets). We did install motion-sensored lights in our backyard (of course they aren't working right now). We also have an alarm system. And then there is Wrangler...he wouldn't necessarily do much damage to intruders but at least we'd know there was one.
