I have decided that I am way too far behind so I am on a mission to get caught up. My old way of scrapbooking just takes too long. I decided that I am going to use the Project Life system as my inspiration for most of my scrapbooking. I have plenty of pocket pages left over from when I did Project Life albums for the kids a couple of years ago. I'll use my own papers and some embellishments. I also add in some memorabilia and pre-printed collage pages. I have been able to work on my album while the kids are at school and I've been printing photos using special coupon codes from Walgreens and Shutterfly.
I used the same method as before...using the prints to figure out the layout and pages to use. I'd make notes of pictures that still needed to be printed. Then go back and add in journal cards and other papers to coordinate.

I had some calendar cards that I'm using for this album. |

I finally got to use some cool animal print paper I've had for years. |

I have layouts done through May (that would be 5 months in just a couple of weeks). I still need to add paper and cards to May. I have about 130 pictures to print (mostly August and October) and then I can continue with 2013.
Once I'm caught up, I'll finish up 2010 (yes, I'm that far behind). My plan will be to spend 1-2 days each month working on the last month and the rest of the time completing the past years.
